Gaimglass gives you an ultra-bright aim dot that is clearly distinguishable on your monitor.
(the vanillatweaks crosshair needs to be a 1.11 one to work on 1.8.9).
Download this crosshair and another from vanillatweaks, unzip the 2 files and replace the pack.mcmeta file from the vanillatweaks texture to this one and put the folder in the textures minecraft file.
